Lesson Plan for Teachers
Review course lesson 13
In this lesson, students prepare a script and storyboard for their video reviews. Upon completion of this, they are free to go ahead with recording their videos, edit them, and preparing them to be uploaded to YouTube.
No tasks are prepared for the lesson.
Monitor, support and help students with questions or queries as needed. Pay attention at this stage to students’ scripts for their videos. Ask them what problems they are having, and whether they need help with editing their scripts, the sequence of the content and so on. If students are confident with their storyboards, and their scripts, they can go ahead with the production of their video.
Check whether students are confident with video editing software. If not, pair students who are confident with those who haven’t used editing software to help one another learn. In my experience, students are often proficient with these software tools because of TikTok and similar social media platforms that need clips to be edited before uploading.
